Seaside Medical Centre has a DNA policy in place. The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance regarding the management of patients who fail to attend their appointments. The policy sets out the procedures for monitoring and recording, and the required actions to be taken to effectively manage missed appointments at Seaside Medical Centre. It is therefore essential that an efficient managment system is in place.
Seaside Medical Centre follows a policy whereby patients are contacted with 'warnings' following their non attendance and if there are a number of non attendances during a 12 month period, the Practice Management may make the decision to remove this patient from the patient list.
