When We Are Closed
For non-urgent medical assistance outside our normal surgery hours, please call the NHS 111. Just dial from any landline or mobile phone 111.
If your need is non-urgent and you are able to wait till the Practice is next open, an early morning phone triage is available. The telephone lines are open at 8am to speak to a Doctor who will be available for advice. Please note that if you need an appointment you can phone to make an appointment from 8.30am.
You can find answers to any ailments from common colds to cancers on the A-Z health encyclopaedia on this site. Our practice website www.seasidemedicalcentre.co.uk also has many useful links as well as information on all the services we offer including on-line appointment bookings.
NHS 111 available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is a service to replace the out of hours service and NHS Direct that has previously been in place. The service is handled by a team of highly trained call advisers, supported by experienced clinicians.
NHS 111 can also help patients who require health information or reassurance regarding any health matter. NHS 111 can direct patients to the service that is best able to meet the needs taking into account location, time of day and the availability of local services.
The aim of NHS 111 is to make it easier for patients to access healthcare services when they need medical help fast, and when it's not a life threatening situation.
